At Huron Intermediate School District, our work is centered on educational leadership, effective programs, and quality services—delivered in collaboration with community partners to educate all learners. A key part of this work is using diagnostic assessment and intervention to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.

📣 We are hiring a Diagnostic Assessment Intervention Technician (DAIT).

This position is available due to the upcoming retirement of Kim Laviolette at the end of the current school year. We sincerely thank Kim for her service, dedication, and commitment to supporting students and staff throughout her time with Huron ISD, and we wish her all the best in her well‑earned retirement.

In the DAIT role, you will support schools by administering diagnostic assessments and assisting with targeted interventions—helping educators make informed, timely decisions that positively impact student learning.

HISD was also proud to be named a finalist for Best Place to Work in the Huron Daily Tribune Readers’ Choice Awards (2023), reflecting the collaborative, supportive culture behind this important work.
